"We would resort to the use of Bees, Snakes, and Wild Animals" - Oyo Amotekun Boss dares Bandits and Killer Herdsmen

 

The Chairman of the Oyo State Chapter of Western Nigerian Security Network (WNSN) popularly known as Operation Amotekun, General Kunle Togun, today (12/09/2022) revealed the corps readiness to tackle ruthless invasion into the state and it's environs with the use of wild animals.

While speaking at a lecture during a meeting of Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum (ODCF) which held during the weekend at Otu Township Hall, Otu, Itesiwaju LGA of the state, the Chairman had alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari was fully behind the invaders, pointing out at his refusal for the corps to be armed with more sophisticated weapons.

He went further to mention the state as the been the number target for the bandits and invading herdsmen due to its vast land and it's closeness to foreign borders, particularly the Oke-Ogun region.

During the COVID-19 global restriction, these people were allowed into Nigeria and every corner of the country they wished without hindrance. President Muhammadu Buhari is their backer and we all know that. These people were coming to Oke-Ogun in trailers and some of our traditional rulers allowed this in their domains despite the fact that people took pictures and videos which they posted online. We will not stop talking about it

For us to maintain peace and keep these bandits away, we will resort to the use of bees and poisonous snakes. I have traveled as far as 'Ibariba' area to see great hunters on this. This can even change the perspective of warfare in the world; instead of physical weaponry, let us use wild animals for once
